Don't Leave Me This Way
Nothing really wrong with this performance, nothing especially right with it either. Malubay is a perfectly good singer and hit the sassy finish of this disco standard — close your eyes and it's a good performance —but she does nothing on stage, planting her feet on the ground and delivering the overfamiliar original note for note. It just goes to show: 24 good singers does not mean 24 good performers.
